Tanisha M. Davis is lead attorney with Tanisha M. Davis, Attorney at Law, PLLC, and one of the most respected family and criminal law attorneys in the State of Michigan. Attorney Davis earned her Juris Doctorate degree at University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Georgia State University.

 

Attorney Davis started her legal career under excellent tutelage. As a law student, Davis was hand-picked to intern with the Honorable Gerald Rosen, with the United States District Court. After graduation, Davis worked with the law office of Marlon B. Evans & Associates, one of the fiercest criminal defense attorneys in the State. Upon hanging out her own shingle, Attorney Davis was a general practitioner--honing her experience in multiple areas, including family, criminal, civil, bankruptcy and federal practice. Davis is licensed to practice in the State of Michigan and the United States District Court Eastern District.

 

Attorney Davis is a member of Wayne County Family Law Bar Association, Wayne County Criminal Defense Bar Association, D. Augustus Straker Bar Association, Council Member of Solo & Small Firm Section of the State Bar of Michigan, Wolverine Bar Association, Black Women Lawyer's Association, Oakland County Bar Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated (Detroit Alumnae Chapter), as well as Founder and CEO of Kounsel Konnect, a legal tech software company.

 

Davis is also committed to alleviating the injustice in criminal law, by educating youth about the criminal justice system through her role as President of Systems Unplugged Inc., a non-profit organization.
